When most retailers sell audio video product, service is a topic they tend to avoid like the plague. It’s considered a negative. Absence of a discussion about service, suggests that the product you’re about to purchase could possibly require fixing sometime in the future. We look at service quite differently. We like to talk about and show-off our service department and our techs. We like to point out that customers who buy from Robert Paul are going to get the fastest turnaround time in the city.
“Here’s the deal.” Our techs have been with us a long time, and have seen and fixed just about every kind of problem, and they insist we choose products that have a history of not breaking down. But, should a product break down, they know their job is to get it fixed and back into your home as fast as possible. They work hard to keep our customer turnaround time to seven days on customer products that we have parts for.
“Here’s the rub.” Too often Robert Paul is called upon to fix products sold by others... namely big box stores. That’s when the name of the game changes. A typical call sounds something like…
“Please help me. My new TV doesn’t work and nobody at the place I bought it from will help me out. I call them and I can’t get thru… or…they put me on perpetual hold until I get frustrated and hang up.”
“Here’s the point.” When we sell a product we don’t separate service from sales. So when you purchase electronics, you shouldn’t either. Whether you purchase a TV, a DVD player or have an entire audio video system installed, you need to know that the customer who purchases from us comes first.
